Do you think about Death?

"I have made peace with it" I think, I am not sure, maybe when death arrives I will change my stance.
But I have plans about what should happen after my death, I want my body to be lobbed into an active volcano. It would be awesome. I made many plans as to how it will reach the volcano but the plan is not fully formed, and I don't wanna stress too much so maybe I'll hire someone who will fulfil my wishes and then get paid.
I was thinking that maybe we could build a supply chain so that people can also access throwing their dead body in a volcano, but it is a complex operation and will be expensive, until we can sort out air rights and build drones big enough to carry capsules with dead bodies. It is a vanity project, I know, also no country will allow this, so this will need to be done on the down low. You know? Illegally. *wink wink*
Imagine spending your whole life obeying rules and then your final act is getting illegally air-dropped into a volcano. That is cinema.
Anyway, death is a difficult subject to talk about. A lot of people say they don't want to die. And nobody can agree on a single thing about what happens after death. Hindus believe in re birth and I am a Hindu so I also believe the same. I don't think you will have previous birth's memories, so the end of one birth's consciousness is right.
I mean without your memories, who even are you?
One thing that I am against is immortality, I am all for being healthy and able to do things when old, but immortality is something I don't agree with. The world needs to be inherited by new generations and new ideas, not with oldies who had a lot of goldies and still hold power. That is incredible wrong. I also say this because if immortality becomes real, it won't be accessible to all, only the absolutely rich and powerful will wield it and in the end it will just become a streak of power that never ends. Maybe we can make laws that they will not be able to hold public positions, but we know that the most influential people are nowhere near the public office. Also if immortality becomes real, and one can be young forever, then there will be strict laws with respect to welcoming new life, like no more babies or something, and that is immoral. The world needs to be inherited by a new gen, not the old gen with their old ideas and approaches. A world without children is not a happy one, and with a lack of hope.
We can send all immortals to Mars, but you know how humans have the feeling that they want to conquer things right? No risk can be taken :P
One shouldn't overthink death, death is the ultimate truth, it will come to you, so no reason in worrying about it. What you can do is be a little careful, and not be the reason for your own demise. Like cross the road carefully, do not hand on the ledge of balconies, do not open doors when a stranger is out wearing mask with a gun in his hand thinking that stranger just wants to ask for address, no he wants to rob you and you might be dead in that altercation. Do not be like a looooot careful as it will borderline be paranoia, Not everyone in the world is out to get you. Death isn't chasing you. I mean it might chase you, and it can happen, but death is not chasing everyone. You are good.
Death can come anytime, like you are walking home from office and suddenly a meteor falls on you, or you are buying groceries at the store and the compressor of the refrigerator beside you explodes, or you are playing with your dog and suddenly a UFO lands on you. Many things can happen. Unexpected things. You think you have gastric but in reality you are having a heart attack? Hmm. Just kidding. Just kidding.
Death is theoretical and something to discuss about until someone you know dies. Before that it is philosophy. Statistics. Religion. Poetry. Intellectualism. After that it becomes logistics, it becomes real. Phone calls. Hospitals. Funerals. Travel. Suddenly the universe becomes extremely practical.
When people you care about die, it hits like a punch in the gut, and that will make life upside down for a while, you will grieve but time heals all, you will move on. With their memories in your heart and a piece of them in your soul. It will never be enough, but it will have to do. There will be a void, that will never be filled, but it is okay, life is not a jigsaw puzzle, it is a never ending graph with infinite edges. You will make new relations, they will be your support, don't worry.
Death has become a business now, things are efficient now, you don't have to lift a finger and all arrangements will be done for you. It will feel easy, it will feel like a well oiled product. Someone died and you paid via UPI and now you are standing near the funeral pier, somehow everything is now abstracted. Do you feel guilt? Hmm. I dunno. Seems humane. Not everyone has the guts to bear the process.
I want to say that there is a plan, but in reality there isn't.
Maybe death will creep up on you, maybe you will just get hit by a 18 wheeler and it will be over in a second. Maybe it will be painful and slow, maybe you won't even know what hit you. I always want to just pass away peacefully, I don't want any fuss or want to depend on anyone to hold my hand when I go to the toilet. I'd rather die. I am all for people having the power to painlessly end their lives. There is always a chance that they might be tricked into it, so we have to set guardrails. Humans at the end stage lose a lot of thinking power. I hope some drug solves this.
Who wouldn't want their pets to live forever? But that is not how biology works I guess.
Not many jokes or silly out takes in this blog, it is a difficult subject, we can joke about it sure, but it will always feel wrong, it shouldn't, but it will. We all are emotional beings who love people, so we care. Maybe we can joke around I die, I want people to do that. It will be awesome.
