He woke up dreading to go to the office.
Today was the day he was going to be judged.
So he reluctantly got up.
Did his morning chores.
Dressed up.
Hailed a cab.
Went to the office.
Sitting on his desk, he was nervous.
What would happen today?
He got called into his senior’s office.
He went there, hand trembling.
The senior pulled up an excel sheet containing history of everything he had done in the company.
He was shocked.
He thought he was going to be fired.
But suddenly, his senior started singing his praise.
He was confused.
What had happened.
He was being given a big fat hike and a promotion.
He was confused but happy.
When he saw the promotion letter he realised what had happened.
Senior had gotten him confused with someone else.
