Electricity and why humanity needs more of it

Electricity and why humanity needs more of it

I am not an expert on how global markets operate; I know some things here and there. But I feel that if we want to make humanity’s QoL better all over the world, then we need cheaper electricity.

ICE is a good piece of technology and has changed humanity for the better. A lot of people say that when electricity was discovered, humanity changed, but then some would say it was the invention of the wheel. We can all debate over it all night.

Imagine there is a zombie apocalypse, and they are attracted to high-pitched sounds. An EV would be the best way to commute, wouldn’t it?

I also see higher AQI levels in NCR and think, why isn’t the government aggressively chasing the electrification of at least the consumer vehicles? It would make the AQI lower. A good way to improve the QoL of citizens is to rid cities of vehicular pollution. Metro is a good example of it. I am not going to argue about increasing public transport because that is not the topic here, but electrifying and improving charging infrastructure across the country will have immense benefits. There was a time when governments were pursuing electrification, but now they have moved to ridiculous solutions like green hydrogen. Like, what even is green hydrogen?

Also, climate change is looming, so what can we do about it? Well, I don’t think we can stop it. Reversing it seems like a good idea, but how? We make the Earth cooler by freezing it again? All we need are a few huge ice blocks that we keep dumping at the North and South Poles regularly. I think that should suffice.

Actually, I am really not sure about how we can reverse it. Maybe we will need to build cities on water? We can do that for sure. Huge concrete foundations and a whole city standing on water. I also think floating cities would be good, but they will be too unstable. But humans are land creatures; I don’t think it will come to that. We can just take excess water and throw it into space. So what we will do is build a pipeline that will extend to space and then keep pumping water out of it, like a straw in the ocean. The idea sounds ridiculous, but with infinite energy glitch, we can achieve it.

Any kind of obstacles can be jumped through if we just have enough explosive energy. I mean, sending rockets to space is just making things explode beneath them.

Build a lot of nuclear power plants, build portable nuclear reactors—every household should have its own nuclear reactor and then we will become an infinite energy civilisation, and each household would be a nation of its own. This will change world economics because, well, now you are not that dependent and cannot use energy as leverage. I also don’t know if the governments will allow the citizens to become this independent of their masters. The world I am thinking about will surely come to life sooner or later. Maybe I can write a book about it.

Anyway, what was I saying? Electrification. Just do it. Systems work when people make them work.
